Purpose

Add knowledge sources and validate an agent before assigning live traffic.

An agent draft and documents or URLs you are authorized to use as knowledge.

In Kommo, open Waply AI > Knowledge bases and, on the Sources tab, use Add source to add text, a website, or a supported document. Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, ODT, RTF, EPUB, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, ODS, ODP or CSV, up to 8 MB each. Text: plain text or Markdown. For a website, choose only that page or the page and its subpages on the same site (up to 20 pages).
Wait until the source is available, group sources with New collection on the Collections tab if useful, and assign them from the agent's Knowledge bases tab. Website sources can refresh every 6, 12 or 24 hours or weekly, or be paused or refreshed manually; documents and text are updated by replacing their content.
Use Preview with representative questions, then correct the source or instructions before publishing.

The preview answers the test questions using the intended knowledge and instructions.

If a source is still processing or fails, resolve that source before relying on it. Test unanswered questions as well as easy ones.

Which files can I add to a knowledge base?

Documents up to 8 MB each, including PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, EPUB and other formats. You can also paste plain text or Markdown.

Can I add a website?

Yes. Choose just that page, or the page and its subpages on the same site, up to 20 pages.

How do I keep a knowledge base up to date?

Website sources can refresh every 6, 12 or 24 hours or weekly. Documents and text are updated manually by replacing their content.

Do knowledge bases work with the voice agent?

Yes. Knowledge bases also work with the Waply voice agent, not only with messaging agents.
