Free WhatsApp API for Kommo: what Waply Free includes

Waply Free is a $0 Waply plan for Kommo with 1 WhatsApp number on the official API. It includes unlimited messages (Meta bills WhatsApp usage to you separately) and 60 WhatsApp call minutes per calendar month. It has no AI agents and no call recording. You opt into it from the Waply widget after the 3-day trial.

Waply Free does not need a credit card. You can connect your number with the Cloud API, with coexistence (WhatsApp Business app) or as a calls-only number.
What you still pay: Meta WhatsApp charges
Waply charges $0 on Free, but Meta still bills WhatsApp usage, such as template messages, directly to your Meta account. Those charges are separate from any Waply plan, paid or free.
How to get Waply Free
1. Install Waply in Kommo
Install Waply in Kommo. The 3-day trial waits until your first WhatsApp number is connected, so no trial days are used during setup.
2. Connect your first WhatsApp number
Connect your first WhatsApp number. When it is ready, the 3-day trial starts.
3. When the trial ends, choose Waply Free in the widget
When the trial ends, an admin opens the Waply widget in Kommo and chooses the Waply Free option. Free is an explicit opt-in, not an automatic switch.
The same Waply Free option appears if a paid plan is cancelled or expires, and it is how you reactivate a paused Free plan.
WhatsApp calls on Free: 60 minutes a month
Waply Free includes 60 minutes of WhatsApp calls per calendar month, counting inbound calls and connected outbound calls.

With calls-only, your messages stay with another integration, such as Kommo's native WhatsApp, and Waply only handles calls on a dedicated Cloud API number. Calls-only is not coexistence.
What happens at 48 and 60 minutes
- At 48 minutes (80%), Waply warns you that you are close to the monthly limit.
- At 60 minutes (100%), new calls are blocked until the next calendar month, and a call in progress is ended shortly after reaching the limit.
- Unused minutes do not carry over to the next month.
Staying active: the 30-day inactivity rule
Waply Free stays active while you use it: messages, calls or opening the Waply widget count as activity. After 23 days without activity, Waply sends a warning. After 30 days without activity, the Free plan is paused.
To reactivate a paused plan, an admin opens the Waply widget in Kommo and chooses Waply Free again.
When to upgrade to a paid plan
- You want AI agents that reply to chats or answer calls.
- You need call recording, transcripts or summaries.
- You need more than 1 WhatsApp number.
- Your team needs more than 60 call minutes a month.
Upgrading is a normal paid checkout. If AI model costs worry you, paid plans also let you bring your own AI key (BYOK).
